An introduction...
Thank you for coming to this information page. I am Sgt. Pepper,
and I will be your host for this little tour of what is new and hot
in the Beatles underground world. What these series of pages will do
is show what is available to the Beatles fan that the average fan might not
otherwise know about. With a little help from my friends (pun intended)
I will be keeping the 'net apprised of what is happening in the world
of The Beatles that Capitol probably does not want you to know about.
Just to let you know up front: I do not sell bootlegs or any other Beatles information or
merchandise. I do not advocate bootlegs or other questionable material,
but being honest with myself, I know that I like them, and more than
likely you do as well, or else you would not be reading this. I merely
want you to know what you are getting before you get it.
Warning: Most pages below this one have large images. If you are on
a slow connection (i.e. 14,400 baud modem or slower), you might want to
turn off your automatic image loading. (In Netscape, uncheck Auto
Load Images in the Options menu)
The Reviews
Publications
I have been getting a lot of cooperation in this endeavor from the
two big Beatles underground review magazines, Belmo's Beatleg News, and
The 910. I am not going to advocate one over the other, because I like
both, and they both help me out. What I am doing is contributing a page
to each one to educate you about what they offer. If you can afford to,
I highly suggest subscribing to both!
So, read about The 910 and
Belmo's Beatleg News.
We don't have Belmo on the 'net yet, but as he increases his
proficiency on his Mac, we hope to get him up and flying soon.
The Beta Test
These pages are still in the process of being put together. They
are being used as a beta-test of the new Walrus server located in NYC.
If you are from the NYC area, or the surronding areas (area codes 212,
718, 917, 516 and 914), For information about the Walrus and QWeb systems,
click here for my explanation, or
here for the official one. If there are
links that are not operating, please be patient, as this is a new
and expanding venture of mine, but it can only be done in my spare
time, as I do not make any money from it.
