Pre-Sales Support Analysts

Reading

RDBMS/Media Server Bias

You will have at least four years of experience in System Analysis, Design, or implementation. Using UNIX and a leading RDBMS and associated tools, you have been able to optimise system performance, understanding both application and UNIX system parameters. C language skills coupled with experience with OSI communications in heterogeneous environments is an added advantage.

Reading/Midlands

Image Processing Bias

You will have a Science/Engineering degree together with four or more years in Image Analysis, Signal Processing or high performance display subsystems. You should demonstrate skills in one or more of the following: C & UNIX System programming, video processing, UNIX device drivers, or 3D image manipulations & rendering.

Reading

Chemistry/Biological Sciences Bias

Your first or higher degree in Chemistry or Biological Sciences will have taken you into four years of research. You will have migrated into a systems and application support role, perhaps with a supplier. You will have an excellent understanding of the software in the Chemical or BioSciences marketplace, and an interest in emerging computer technologies and their application in your area of expertise.

Reading

Oil And Gas Exploration/Engineering Bias

You will have a degree or higher qualification in a geophysics or science-related discipline. You will have worked in one of the Majors or a leading supplier of services/software to the industry for at least five years, later migrating into a systems and application support role. In addition to applications knowledge, you will demonstrate solid UNIX, C and networking skills as applied in hetrogeneous environments.

Manchester/Birmingham/Reading

MCAD BIAS

You will have put your Engineering degree to good use in design for a manufacturer for three to five years. More recently you will have been in a support role either with a manufacturer or software supplier. You will have good UNIX abilities, with a passionate interest in workstation technologies and how they are applied in the CIM marketplace.
