In Los Angeles, CA in November, Silicon Studio hosted over 1,800 creative professionals from all over the world at the first Entertainment Authoring Conference where three programs that promise to define a new future for the creation of entertainment were unveiled. The company announced the Keystone Initiative, an open environment for content creation; Silicon Studio Live, the service and support structure for the industrys emerging authoring community, including new Training Studios in Los Angeles and London; and Firewalker, a set of tools that will allow filmmakers and other entertainment authors to take original digital source materials and use them to create interactive titles.
As the entertainment industry moves from an analog to digital technology, Silicon Studio will make the transition as easy as possible for creative professionals. As Silicon Graphics computers become more powerful, with better and easier-to-use tools, Silicon Studio can really fuse the world of art and technology.
