Net Technician/System Administrator

We're an aggressive start-up creating great technologies & products for the on-line multimedia revolution. Our first product, RealAudio, delivers audio in realtime over the Internet and has been met with tremendous excitement and interest. products for the on-line multimedia revolution. We're seeking an energetic Net Technician/ System Administrator to maintain our Ethernet LAN & Internet connection, to manage our Internet presence, to establish internal software standards, and to install and maintain client and server software. Client machines are 486/Pentium machines running DOS/Windows and Windows NT, and a few Macs. Server machines are x86 machines running Windows/Windows NT and Linux, and RISC workstations running Unix. We run TCP/IP and gateway directly to the Internet. Ideal candidate will have experience setting up and managing similar nets. Experience with firewalls and security a plus. Experience with setting up/maintaining high speed (T1) Internet connectivity a big plus. A real go-getter, make-it-happen attitude a huge plus.

To qualify, you need:

• College level exposure to Computer Science, EE, MIS, or equivalent
• Experience in administering a PC Network
• Experience with Unix systems
• A track record of strong customer orientation
• A small team attitude. Independence & strong communication skills.
• To be hard working, aggressive, & dedicated. An entrepreneurial approach.
