Champs-Elysees

These Fin du Siecle pedestrians can take a leisurely
stroll down Le Champs-Elysees, because they probably got there
on the Metro. Look down the row of three lamp posts on the
right. You'll see a man sitting on a keg on a horse-drawn
cart. Just to the right of the cart is the entrance to the
Station du Metropolitain.
This postcard is by LL, sought out
by collectors of old Paris views for the quality of his work.
In the original, I can see the detail of the lace trim on the
dresses of the three women in the right foreground.
