The gargoyles of Notre Dame are finely etched on a
postcard that never went through the mail. Or it could have been
part of a set. I climbed a tower of Notre Dame to get a close
look at the gargoyles on my May 1981 visit to France. I
didn't see the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
