Use the up and down arrow keys to move between items. The item will then become highlighted (reverse video) and you can either press RETURN or the right arrow key to access the item. The left arrow or u will take you back. There is help available by typing h or you can access it here. As terminal based interfaces cannot handle graphics or sound these are identified as [IMAGE] and cannot be accessed.
