At last: beautiful weather in the morning. The Wrapped Reichstag looks wonderful.
During the night the first assault at the Wrapped Reichstag happened. Someone shot an arrow with a small firebomb - luckily nothing happend. Only a smale peace of the fabric got singed (it's unflamable).
Christo and Jeanne-Claude gave a TV-interview in front of the Reichstag. One of the mountain climbers was hurt while descending.
At 13:00 (MET) a live TV-interview with Volker Kauder and Rita Süssmuth took place in the tent of the German parliament.
During the afternoon the crowd around the Reichstag grew enormously. The crowd is estimated to be 350 000 people.
