The AMUC Express BBS
This is the official BBS of The AMiga Users of Calgary. It is a
seven line BBS running IceBBS software. It has about 2Gigs of
hard drive space and 13 CDROMs online (in Pioneer DRM-60x type
changers). AMUC members get full access, other users can get
free accounts which give them limited access.

Special Accounts on the BBS
There are a number of special accounts
you can send EMail to on the AMUC Express BBS. These
are:
Sysop: General
This is the head sysop account, general
comments, concerns and requests can be
sent here. If your request is not of
a personal nature it would be better to
post it in the BBS_Feedback sig section.
Sysop: Memberships
Send requests for account privilege
changes here. If you are an AMUC member
you need to send a message to this account
to get your access upgraded.
Sysop: Files
If you notice something wrong with the
files system send email here. This includes
such things as damaged files, files without
a description attached, files in the wrong
location (a music file in the graphics area)
and files of a dubious nature that should be
removed or re-assessed.
AMUC Chairman
If you have questions to ask about AMUC, or
there is some problem with the BBS of a club
related nature please send it here.
AMUC Newsletter Editor
If you have something you want to submit
to the AMUC monthly disk newsletter you can
send it here. This includes advertising.
Note, that AMUC members get up to 500 bytes
of free advertising space per month for
personal adverts, dealer members get several
free adverts per year and other parties may
advertise for a $20 fee.
AMUC-Librarian
If you wish to request a file from the AMUC
library this is the account to send it to.
When these files are uploaded they will be placed
in the NewUploads:LibraryRequests directory.
Files older than 7 days in this directory are
automatically deleted.
