Allen and Ellen Dick live in an old school located in Swalwell, Alberta. The school was built in the thirties and added onto in 1956. In 1964, it was abandoned as a school and it was sold by auction in 1968. It had four classrooms and a small gym in the basement.

It serves as a home and private studio as well as housing the honey extracting facilities for the family beekeeping business.
