An Automated System for the Maintenance of Multiform Documentation
OUR AUTOMATED SYSTEM
To facilitate the maintenance of the ADAMO documentation we have developed a set of generic tools whose primary goals are to avoid redundancy by minimizing the number of "master" formats and to allow the automatic propagation of a change from a master to all derived documents. Our system uses FrameMaker [3] as the master format and automatic converters are able to convert FrameMaker Maker Interchange Format (MIF) documents to HTML [2] and CDF [5] formats. Examples are dynamically compiled, run and included at MIF generation time. Current components of the system are:
- A FrameMaker to WWW converter
