This is the processed image where a portion of the
2048x2048 CCD image has been cutout and contrast enhanced. The diffuse
nature of the comet is now a hindrance to its detectablity against the
scattered light from Jupiter. The red arrow p oints to the most luminous
fragment and the train extends from the lower right to the top left of the
blue box, but it is rather hard to see.
