Continuing Medical Education

Brigham and Women's Hospital, Department of Radiology

Continuing Medical Education

Each year the Department of Radiology sponsors a number of Continuing Medical Education courses on such topics as Angiography and Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging/Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Orthopedic Radiology, Chest Disease, and Clinical Nuclear Medicine. These courses are attended by radiologists from across the country.

Speakers include Departmental faculty and invited outside authorities, who cover the diagnostic and therapeutic advances in each subspecialty and new technologies in the field. The courses, held at a large Boston or Cambridge hotel, also feature commercial exhibits and manufacturers' displays. From time to time the Department presents courses on topics of limited special interest such as running a private radiology practice (geared especially for residents and fellows) and managing a hospital radiology department.

The 1995 and 1996 course schedules are available through this link.
