Multimedia Applications in Telecooperation (MAT)

The newly established independent MAT group was initially launched by POLIKOM Management division of GMD, operating under the sponsorships of Federal Ministry for Education, Science, Research and Technology (BMBF) and Industry.

Telecommunication and Telecooperation
Organising Meetings and Workshops

The Russian Academy of Science (RAS) Moscow
Information Super-Highway Bonn - Moscow
Cooperations With Eastern European Countries
MAT is actively involved with several EU projects
MAT offers collaboration and cooperation as the framework of German National Host (NHS)

Achievements

G7 Conference in Brussels 24. to 26.2.95
Recorded movie broadcast from German News (Tagesthemen) upon the historical visit of the American Vice President Mr. Al Gore , EU-President Mr. Santer and Ms. Yzer the General Secretary of BMBF visited the GMD booth at the G7-Conference. You can see the video and listen to the audio seperatly.
