- Curriculum vitae:
- I studied at the University of Hamburg from 1986 till 1993 with the major computer science and the minor sociology. Special interests were operating systems, compilers, data bases and software ergonomics resp. new urban sociology. My studies included the debugging and extension of the Modula-2/DBPL-VAX-compiler. In the master's thesis I explored syntactic language extensions with common compiler tools and introduced (prototypical) a syntax extension facility in the Tycoon system. While studying I worked part-time as operator at the computing centre of the department of computer science and as tutor at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg and the University of Hamburg.
Now I am working as research assistent at Hamburg University and planning a PhD thesis about databases and software development environments, i.e. repositories.
