I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I did a short film over the summer called "26 Summer Street," and approximately four years of modeling before that. So this is my first feature film experience. After "THE BABY-SITTERS CLUB" I played Becky in the upcoming film version of "Tom Sawyer."
My favorite color is black (and please don't tell me it's not a color) but I like all colors really. My hobbies are drawing, tennis and writing. The best movies of all time are "The Breakfast Club," "Flashdance," "Pulp Fiction" and "Footloose."
My favorite bands are Madder Rose, They Might Be Giants, Beasties, That Dog and The Who.
I have a 13 year old brother named Ben. We get along well. Probably because he's awesome.
My favorite foods are bread, pineapple and Wint-o-green Lifesavers.
How I got into the business: I was found by my managers through my modeling agency in Minnesota. I came out to L.A. alone and stayed with my manager, tried out for this and ... well here I am!
Why I wanted to be in BSC: Well ... it's a movie! you know... I'm a sophomore in high school, don't make fun.
Things I love: junk jewelry, rain, American Gladiators, stickers, heights, and garage sales.
Things I dislike: Geometry, prickly sweaters, 100 degree temperatures, roller coasters, old and crusty pencil erasers that don't erase.
Favorite authors: Shirley Jackson, Sandra Cisneros, Franz Kafka, John Hassler, F. Scott Fitzgerald.
Pets: two cats, Beau (a Burmese) and Skippy (Tonkeniese, a mix of Burmese and Siamese) and one dog, Lily (a boxer).
