BRUCE DAVISON (Watson) was honored with a Golden Globe, Independent Spirit Award and an Oscar nomination, as well as awards from the New York Film Critics and National Film Critics Society for his performance in the critically-acclaimed film about the AIDS crisis, "Longtime Companion." Most recently, he has appeared in the family drama "Far From Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog," as well as "The Cure" and the forthcoming drama "Homage." He was among the casts of two of 1993's most acclaimed film projects, "Six Degrees of Separation" and "Short Cuts."
Among Davison's early credits are "Last Summer," "The Strawberry Statement," "Short Eyes," "Brass Target," "Spies Like Us" and "Lies." He gained national recognition and critical attention when he played the title character in the psychological thriller, "Willard."
On television, Davison has appeared in "LIVE: From Death Row," "Summer of My German Soldier," "Taming of the Shrew," "Poor Little Rich Girl" and the chilling PBS drama, "The Lathe of Heaven". He has also appeared in HBO's "Tales from the Crypt," as well as "Cybill," and on the TV fantasy "Harry and the Hendersons," on which he also worked behind the camera.
When not performing, Davison works actively as spokesperson for a myriad of AIDS related groups. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Lisa Pelikan.
