Hoppenbrouwers' specialises in very small companies with a few computers and relatively small amounts of raw data. This type of company frequently lacks both the organisation and the funds to call in a major informatics company to straighten out their administrative processes. Yet there can be big gains in efficiency and decision speed if such a company gets itself a small, dedicated information system.
However, developing small database applications is not necessarily easier than developing large databases. Technically yes, but technology alone never solved a business problem. Understanding the way you work and listening to your needs, and then developing the application you need in close cooperation with you and your employees is the only way of solving your problem. And this is the way we work.
We provide small-scale databases and networks with professional reliability, performance, and maintainability on the DOS and OS/2 platforms (no Windows--we're talking reliability here!), at a fraction of the cost of comparable systems with other technologies.
