About SoftWood

SoftWood began in 1986 as one of the first software developers for the Amiga computer. We have developed and now offer the best selling, personal productivity software for the Amiga including Final Writer, Final Calc, and Final Data.

SoftWood has made a major commitment to supporting the Internet. We provide web services on our own secure commerce server that is connected to the Internet via 10meg high speed line. Although our love for the Amiga computer has never diminished, the realities of the computer industry has influenced us to broaden the scope of our business. After almost three years of development by an expert Windows® software developer, we now offer Final Writer for Windows® 95 and Windows® NT(tm). Our entry into the PC arena is like the proverbial David doing battle with Goliath. However, we are confident our product has what has been missing in PC word processors for years--ease of use and raw power!
