Modeler Does not know Paths to Content

Product: Lightwave Amiga 4.0 and 5.0 Toaster/Flyer and SA

Platforms: 500 600 1200 2000 3000 3000T 4000 4000T

Problem: Modeler does not pick up the paths for content, when Modeler is loaded from Layout. When you click on a Load button, to load an Object for instance, the file requestor comes up and immediately pops up the error message "Path not found". This is a bug.

Solution: Not resolved by programmers.

Workaround: Hard code all path specifications in LW-config. Example: If your NewTek directory is on drive HD1:, then you would modify the line

ScenesDirectory Scenes

to read

ScenesDirectory HD1:NewTek/Scenes

Do this for each of the "Directory" lines in LW-Config. Modeler will then be able to correctly use the content paths when loaded from Layout.
