This LED indicates that the Flyer has no video sync. Audio and video recording/playback will be unreliable. Caused by Toaster putting out illegal video on Main. This usually occurs when the Toaster software is being started, and when the Flyer is transitioning between play and record modes (entering or leaving the record panel).

This LED changes for every character received from Flyer serial ports A or B. This can be used for checking cabling and jumpers when setting up a serial device such as a time-code reader. Should flash when receiving time-code information.
