Issue: When a system contains the Trio 64 V+ Video Card and the new Vibra 16 CT2800 Series Sound Card, part number SNDCRD005ACWW, in Windows® 95, a yellow exclamation point indicating a possible resource conflict may appear on the sound card line in the Device Manager.Resolution: It is necessary to remove and reinstall the sound card as a device to to reinstall it.
- Double click on My Computer. Double click on Control Panel.
- Double click on System, and click on the Device Manager tab.
- Highlight Sound, Video, and Game Controllers, and click the plus sign next to it.
- Highlight Creative Labs Sound Blaster 16 or AWE-32, and click on Remove. Remove the Sound Card only, not the Game port. Click on OK.
- Click on Close once the card is removed. Double click on Add New Hardware in Control Panel. Click on Next.
- Select No when prompted to have Windows search for the new hardware. Click on Next.
- Click on the Sound, Video, and Game Controllers, and choose Next.
- Select Creative Labs®, and then select Creative Labs Sound Blaster 16 or AWE-12. Click on Next and then Next again.
- Click on Finish. Choose Yes when prompted to Restart the computer. When Windows 95 is rebooted, the card should be installed properly.
