Issue: Before Feb. 17, 1996, the Adaptec SCSI SCAM Controller Cards (part number CTRSCS003AB/ACWW) were shipped without the PLUG and PLAY SCAM option enabled in CMOS. Enabling the Plug and Play option will allow the system to see multiple SCSI hard drives.Resolution: Configure the system to recognize multiple SCSI hard drive. Perform the following setup procedures:
- Press CTRL-A when prompted upon boot.
- Highlight Configure/View Host Adapter Settings from the list of options, and press Enter.
- Highlight Advanced Configuration Options from the list of options, and press Enter.
- Highlight PLUG and PLAY SCAM SUPPORT from the list of options, and press Enter.
- Press Enter, choose ENABLED, and press Enter.
- Press ESC.
- Press ESC.
- Choose YES to save changes.
- Press ESC.
- Choose YES to exit the program.
- Press any key to reboot the system on the next screen.
