Gateway Solo^TM Serial Port Icon on LCD Panel Doesn't Light Up With Port Enabled

Issue: When the Serial Port on a Gateway Solo Portable PC is enabled, the "----" symbol does not appear on the Status display bar. The Serial Enabled symbol would normally appear, according to Page 8 of the Gateway Solo Userís Guide, between the IR Enabled symbol and the External Monitor Enabled symbol.
Resolution: This issue is resolved with BIOS 1.07. This BIOS (SOLOB107.EXE) is available for downloading from the Gateway 2000 FTP site.
