Issue: On Gateway Solo systems, if you upgrade from Windows for Workgroups 3.11 to Windows 95 and leave the computer on past midnight, the date will not change. The time will roll over to the correct time, and the date will change in CMOS but not inside of Windows 95.Resolution: This issue is caused by the Real Mode Time Updater PMEXT.SYS file. This file is needed to use Windows for Workgroups 3.11 but not for Windows 95. Remove the PMEXT.SYS line from the CONFIG.SYS file, and reboot the system. Windows 95 will now roll over to the correct date at midnight.
