Gateway Solo^TM Keyboard Responds Intermittently When Xircom PE3-10BT is Attached

Issue: When customers hook up a parallel device to the parallel port and power for the device is coming from the PS/2 port, the keyboard responds intermittently.

Resolution: To use the Xircom PE3-10BT Parallel Adapter with a Gateway Solo put the Xircom parallel Adapter into A/C power. Do not plug the parallel adapter into the PS/2 port.
