Installing Gateway Solo 2200 Video Drivers in Windows 95
Windows 95 detects a Standard PCI graphics display adapter upon installation. The following steps explain how to change the video display driver within Windows 95. The only reasons you need to install these drivers are to make sure the correct video drivers are loaded, to make sure two drivers are not loading at the same time, and to eliminate refresh and other display difficulties. Since the Gateway Solo 2200 has a SVGA screen, the resolution must be set to at least 800x600 so the display fills the entire LCD screen and to avoid a virtual desktop effect.First time video installation
