What is a Bellybutton?
Peter Rabbit & CinderellaAll of the CD titles in the Kids Backpack II bundle are installed and played through Microsoft Windows 3.x or Windows 95. This document assumes that the CD-ROM drive letter is D:.
Windows 95 specific instructions: When setting up these games in Windows 95, skip step (1) and click the Start button and select Run. On the command line type:or
d:\install
and click on the OK button. Continue with step (2) in the appropriate game section.
d:\setup
Freddi Fish
- Insert the Freddi Fish CD disc in the CD-ROM drive. From the Program Manager in Windows, click on the word File, then click on the word Run. In the Command Line box type:
and click on OK to begin the installation.
d:\install
- The Welcome to Freddi Fish and the Case of the Mission Kelp Seeds windows appears on the screen. Click on the Quick Install button to continue. As the software installs to the hard drive, an Installing window appears on the screen with percentages of completion.
- The next window informs you that the installation is complete. Click OK to continue. The next window reminds you to register the software. Click OK to continue. The Finished! window appears. Once you read the information, click on the Restart Windows button to continue.
- To play the game, double click on the Humongous group in the Program Manager. Double click on the Freddi Fish icon to start the game. The first time the game is started, the video display and CD-ROM drive are tested.
- To exit the game, press the Alt key and the F4 key at the same time. A message appears wanting to confirm that you wish to exit. Click on the Yes button.

Pocahontas
- Insert the Pocahontas CD in the CD-ROM drive. From the Program Manager in Windows, click on the word File, then click on the word Run. In the Command Line box type:
and click on OK to begin the installation.
d:\install
- The Pocahontas Program Installation screen appears. Click on OK to accept the Installation Location of C:\POCAHONT for the software. A percentage bar appears in the center of the screen showing the installation progress to the hard drive.
- The Begin Install window appears on the screen next. Click on the Install button to continue. The next window informs you about potential conflicts with existing versions of Quick Time for Windows. Once you read through this screen, click on the Start button to continue.
- The Complete Install window appears on the screen. Click on the Install button to continue. Another percentage bar displays the installation progress to the hard drive. When finished the Success window appears. Click the OK button to continue. The final window informs you that Pocanhontas installation is complete. To begin the game, click the Yes button.
- To begin this application later, double click the Reading Success group from the Program Manager. Double click the Pocanhontas icon in the group to begin the application.

What is a Bellybutton?
- Insert the What is a Bellybutton? CD disc in the CD-ROM drive. From the Program Manager in Windows, click on the word File, then click on the word Run. In the Command Line box type:
and click on OK to begin the installation.
d:\setup
- The software will install an IVI Publishing group in the Program Manager and a What is a Bellybutton? Icon within this group. To play the application, double click on the What is a Bellybutton? Icon.

Peter Rabbit & Cinderella
The Tale of Peter Rabbit and Cinderella must each be installed separately following the same instructions below.
- Insert the Tale of Peter Rabbit CD or the Cinderella CD in the CD-ROM drive. From the Program Manager in Windows, click on the word File, then click on the word Run. In the Command Line box type:
and click on OK to begin the installation.
d:\install
- The Install Setup screen will appear. Click on the Start the Install button to accept the default directories of D:\ for the source and C:\DISCIS for the destination drives. As the files are copied to the hard drive, a percentage bar appears in the center of the screen. When the Install done copying files message appears, click the OK button on the screen.
- The next screen informs you that the Discis Books successfully registered. Click on the OK button to continue. The next screen prompts you to install the Windows group for the program. Click on the OK button to continue. The Program Manager briefly appears while the groups are created.
- The Run Setup Programs window appears on the screen. Once you read the information on the screen, click on the OK button to continue. The Installation Options button appears on the next screen. Make sure the Local option is selected and click on the Continue button. A percentage bar appears on the screen as the files are copied to the hard drive.
- The Installation Done window appears next. Click the OK button to continue with the installation. The final screen informs you that the program is ready to run. Click the OK button to return to Windows.
- To play the book, double click on the Discis Books group in the Program Manager to open it. Double click on the Discis Books icon to start the application.
