Also responsible for documenting changes to application functionality caused by those changes and testing them before they are made live by the Operations Team. Past experience in Word, HTML or Database development preferred. Corporate Auditor
Retail Division -- North Sioux City, SD
Member of Corporate Audit team, whose primary mission is to review and evaluate the internal control structure of the company (domestic and international locations), and secondarily conducts operational audits and other special projects. Bachelors degree with emphasis in Accounting, Information Systems or a related field, AND a combined three to five years of public accounting and/or industry (internal/EDP auditing or operational) experience is required (international and/or high technology experience is desired); OR, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. MBA, CISA, CIA or CPA degree/certification is preferred.
Director, Global Employee Communication
North Sioux City, SD
As our Director of GEC, you will be responsible for strategic global communication planning to support overall company business objectives. This will include translating business information into strategic communication plans. Requirements include a Bachelorís degree in Communication or a related field, along with experience in multimedia including the Internet, intranet, and interactive television (or the equivalent combination of education/experience). Masterís preferred. Knowledge related to communication measurement tools and experience developing a strategic feedback system to test, validate, and modify communication messages and mediums required. Candidate must have a strong track record of developing effective communication strategy in a rapidly expanding environment and be highly motivated and detail-oriented.
Global Communications Specialist

Responsible for assisting in producing, editing, and planning global communication, including newsletters, magazine, brochures, posters, etc. A Bachelor's degree in Print Journalism or a related field, AND a minimum of five years experience in print journalism, writing and editing or equivalent experience in global corporate print communication. Layout and design experience in print medium.
HRIS Business Analyst

This member of the HRIS team will assist in identifying, developing, and supporting solutions for international Human Resource needs. Specific responsibilities will include consulting with staff from functional HR and Payroll areas regarding HRIS requirements; identifying and implementing solutions; interfacing with IS technical staff regarding modifications to current systems; reporting; auditing; and training. This position will also direct the work of consulting staff, as required. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field, AND at least two years of progressively responsible business or project management experience is required; OR, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Prior Human Resource generalist or HRIS experience is highly desirable.
Human Resources, Manager

This position is responsible for managing and developing Human Resources staff members in the assigned Human Resources functional areas. Responsible for enhancing employee morale and supervising the implementation of established company policies and programs covering the following: employment, employee relations, wage and salary administration, benefit administration, affirmative action, orientation and training, and safety. Maintains good public relations status with the various civic and community organizations, local business and business people in the community regarding human resources functions. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, AND a minimum of seven years of solid human resources generalist experience with exposure to all aspects of human resources (employment, employee relations, wage and salary administration, benefit administration, orientation and training, quality, safety and union avoidance) is required; OR, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Prior experience supervising professional staff is also required. For those positions in the Training area the following may be required: a Bachelorís degree in Education, Training or Development.
Human Resources Representative

This position is responsible for providing Human Resources support to a business unit in the implementation and the coordination of established company policies and programs covering the following: recruitment, employee relations, orientation, training, and safety. This position would also assist with the implementation of compensation and benefit administration as they pertain to orientation and general employee relations. Manager, Corporate Audit-Systems

Participate with Director of Corporate Audit in the establishment of a new world class internal audit department for this $5.0 billion global direct marketer of PCs. Supervise Corporate Auditors as information systems audit manager in execution and reporting of internal financial and control reviews. Member of Corporate Audit Team, whose primary mission is to review and evaluate the internal control structure and information systems of the Company (both domestic and international locations), and secondarily completes operational audits and other special projects. A bachelorís degree in Finance/Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Experience should include 5-10 years combined of "Big 6" public accounting and industry experience with large internal audit department (internal EDP auditing and/or operational focused). MBA, CISA, CIA, or CPA degree/certification is required. Must initiate audit productivity through implementation and utilization of computer audit software and computer aided techniques/tools. JD Edwards, system conversion and/or high technology experience is desired.

Paralegal

This position is responsible for providing support and assistance to the assigned Staff Counsel by acting as a liaison for outside counsel, and drafting and reviewing initial contracts and other legal documents with direct supervision. Also researches pertinent legal issues. A Paralegal certificate, AND at least two years experience as a paralegal is required.
Safety Engineer
North Sioux City, SD
This position will be responsible for implementing and evaluating all safety processes, including safety training, incident investigation, facility safety inspections, new machinery/equipment evaluation, and personal protective equipment evaluations. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering or a related field, AND 5+ years of general industry environment experience; OR, an equivalent combination of education/experience. Other requirements include knowledge of air quality and fire fighting equipment, as well as the ability to read blueprints. Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Security Systems Specialist

This position is responsible for providing leadership while securing Gateway 2000 assets through physical, mechanical, electronic, and personnel resource utilization. Coordinates with other Gateway 2000 personnel and outside agencies on security issues. Trains security personnel on system usage. Responsible for supervising, mentoring, disciplining, reviewing, coaching, training, and the growth of assigned staff. An Associate's degree in Electronics or a security related field, AND a minimum of five years experience working in a security office and/or law enforcement field, of which three years was working directly with security and fire systems is required; OR, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Senior Administrative Assistant

This position is responsible to perform, under very limited supervision, complex administrative tasks, projects, and ongoing department programs supporting Gateway philosophies for an individual or group of individuals. May include responsibility for the supervision of assigned personnel in the designated area to accomplish their daily tasks and duties, by providing guidance and coaching to enhance employee knowledge and skills. Establishes schedules, goals, expectations, and performance criteria for those assigned personnel. Distributes, reads, screens, prioritizes, and directs incoming correspondence and respondes as necessary. Composes and executes correspondence in response to difficult inquiries. Researches, compiles, develops, and maintains complex statistical database files as needed. A High School diploma or GED and a minimum of six years of progressively responsible administrative support experience, of which a minimum of two years of administrative assistant experience is required; OR, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Good working knowledge of office automation systems and equipment is required. Prior supervisory experience is preferred. Staff Counsel - Contracts

The attorney filling this position will be responsible for fulfilling the legal and related business needs for sales to customers, will provide guidance on an as-needed basis for purchases from suppliers, will support the America's Staff Counsel, and will provide staff legal guidance in the Staff Counsel's area of expertise for the corporation and to other attorneys in the legal department. A Bachelor's degree, AND a minimum of six years practiced experience with transaction is required; OR, an equivalent combination of education/experience. Must have a JD or LLB from an American Bar Association school. Masters of Business is preferred.
Systems Administrator - UNIX

This position is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, analyzing, and improving the function and performance of the UNIX and/or AS400 operating system. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and a minimum of four years of experience working with the UNIX and/or AS400 oeprating system is required; OR, an euqivalent combination of education and/or experience. Five to seven years of experience and related programming experience with the selected platformm(s) is preferred. Strongly prefer experience with HP-UX and the HP9000 system. Large system/disk farm experience a plus.
