NetGuide honors Gateway 2000 for the Best Professional PCs
Gateway’s G6-200 system and the company’s Professional PC series received honors as the Best Multimedia Delivery System and Best Internet-Ready PCs. Gateway was the only computer company to receive such endorsements.
"The best software applications and Web sites need great technology to bring them alive," said Dave Berger, Director of Product Marketing, America’s Region. "This honor recognizes that Gateway’s computers do just that. "

Gateway’s Professional series PCs are equipped with some of the latest components and software, including Pentium processors with MMX technology, accelerated 3D video, 12X-16X CD-ROM drives, and Microsoft Windows 95 and Microsoft Office 97, Small Business Edition software.
