This document duplicates and consolidates questions and answers recently added or updated to any of the five primary Be FAQ lists, covering the BeOS, the BeOS for PowerMac, the BeBox, Developing for the BeOS, and Be company information.

Additions or substantial changes to FAQ items which occurred after June 3, 1997.

What has changed?

Too much to list! In general, every question was examined to see if it was still relevant with the shipment of the BeOS Preview Release. FAQs which applied only to previous releases of the BeOS were purged (though they will reappear on a separate FAQ in time), while items which had changed considerably were rewritten.

We also updated links, particularly for questions which referenced the old BeOS User's Guide, and attempted to take advantage of all the new material on the Be web site.

We're still digging, though, and the FAQs will no doubt receive many updates in the coming weeks. Do check back here to see what's new!
