Problem: When attempting to run Modeler, Error 212 is generated.

If using Windows NT, be sure that you have installed the Sentinel drivers for the hardware key. Under all versions of Windows, be sure that the parallel port on which the hardware key is installed is set up as a Standard parallel port, not Enhanced.

This error message can occur if the parallel port is faulty, or is set to anything other than Standard Parallel Port mode, and also if the hardware key is faulty. You may need to try another port card, change the port properties, try the hardware key on another system, or try another hardware key to determine which may have failed.
