When activating a plugin in Layout or Modeler you get an "error -2".

Problem: When activating a plugin in Layout or Modeler you get an "error -2" the plugin is not loaded, and then try to load the plugin the system locks.

The patch provided as of March 12 1997 set the plugins of the config file correctly.


Solution:

Open the config file for layout or modeler

Locate the plugin that is in the configfile

add "plug-ins:layout" or "plug-ins:modeler" after "NewTek:Programs:"

The correct line for the AH_CelShader plugin should read

Plugin ShaderHandler AH_CelShader "NAME OF DRIVE":NewTek:Programs:plug-ins:layout:CelShader.P AH_CelShader

After you are done save the file then restart LightWave
