Image Sequence Naming in LightWave 3.1/3.5

Sequences are allowed up to 12 characters in the root file name, plus a 3-digit extension. The extension need not be set off by a period. For sequences that are longer than 999 images, the three digit extension must be used up to file 999, and then four digits are used from 1000 on. LightWave will not use four digit extensions where the first digit is a placeholder 0.
