Differences in Bones Between 3.5 and 4.0
Product: Lightwave Platforms: Amiga Intel Alpha MIPS Problem: The user has created a set of objects in 3.5 using bones and found that when they are loaded into 4.0LW, the bones seemed to have a different type of influence. The user needs the bones work the way they did in 3.5.
The workings of bones have been changed pretty substantially. You should find that bones work more like you were used to if you turn on the "Scale strength by rest length" button in the Object skeleton panel, and perhaps make a few adjustments to the strength and range gadgets.
