Issue: After reading the Altec ACS250 User Manual which illustrates the use of a Y-Cable, you may be concerned that the Altec Lansing ACS250 Subwoofer is missing the necessary cable to connect the Subwoofer to the Speakers. The Subwoofer is ordered with the ACS40 Speakers.

Resolution: The cable is not necessary for the proper operation of the speakers that Gateway currently sells. The proper method is to connect the Speakers to the Sound Card and the Subwoofer to the Speakers.
