Issue: When customers use the DataRace PCMCIA network card on Gateway Solo systems with Windows 95, network computers will not be able to access the Gateway Solo system. The Gateway Solo has the ability to access everything on a network, but other network users will not be able to see the shared resources on the Gateway Solo (i.e. directories and printers). The following error is displayed: "<computername> is not accessible". This device does not exist on the network.

Resolution: BIOS 1.07 resolves this issue. The RPL part number for this BIOS is SWRDSX027AEUS. BIOS 1.07 is available for downloading from the Gateway 2000^® FTP site.
