Issue: The Desktop Icons do not show up or are replaced by a shortcut arrow.Resolution: Two areas need to be checked when dealing with this issue.
- In the Display Properties under Appearance, verify the setting for the Icon size. The correct size should be set at 16, 32, 48, or 64.
- Check the Icon filename. There are separate icon files for the different sizes of each Icon. The size of the icon is indicated in the file name. All of the Icon file names must match the number in the Display Properties.
