Issue: If you partition your system's hard drive and reload the Mitsumi 4x CD-ROM drivers (part number CDRDSX001ADUS) the drivers will load the following line in the AUTOEXEC.BAT: a:\bootflop\mscdex /d:mscd001 /l:d bootdisk. Because the system now defaults the CD-ROM drive to D due to the "l:d" command, the system has a conflict between the partitioned hard drive and the CD-ROM. The CD-ROM will not be detected when the system boots up due to the hard drive being detected first as drive D.Resolution: Manually change the CD-ROM drive letter to the correct drive in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
