This document contains installation instructions for the STB Nitro 5446 video card drivers. These drivers only need to be installed if the hard drive is formatted, the drivers become corrupt, or the directory is inadvertently deleted. How to Install the STB Nitro 5446 Video Card Drivers

- Insert the STB Nitro 5446 driver diskette into the A: drive. From the Program Manager in Windows, click the word File in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Click the word Run that appears on the menu. In the Command Line box, type
and press Enter. The STB Vision Installation Utility window appears. The window displays the default directory of C:\WINDOWS for the installation of the files. Click the OK button to continue.

- The files are copied to the hard drive. During this process, the program prompts for diskette 2 to be inserted in the floppy drive. After inserting the diskette, click the Continue button. The program window appears asking if a STB program group should be created at this time. Click the Yes button to continue.
- A window appears stating that the STB Vision Control Panel will be started so that the monitor and display settings can be selected. Click the OK button to continue. The STB Vision Monitor Options window appears. Select the correct monitor type, then click the OK button to continue.
- The STB Vision Control Panel appears. Select the desired Colors, Virtual Desktop Size, and Resolution. Once the appropriate selections are made, click the OK button to continue.
- The setup program states that Windows must be restarted to complete the installation of STB Vision. Click the OK button to restart Windows. Once Windows restarts, the STB Vision program group is visible.
