Windows 95 specific instructions: When setting up this application in Windows 95, skip step (1). Click the Start button and select Run. On the command line type:

Installation Instructions for Quicken® Financial Suite
This document contains installation instructions for the Financial Bundle, Quicken® Financial Suite discs. These instructions are for Windows 3.x and Windows 95. This document assumes that the CD-ROM drive letter is D: and the software is installed onto the C: drive.
- Insert the Quicken Financial Suite Disc 1 in the CD-ROM drive. From the Program Manager in Windows, click the word File, then click on the word Run. In the Command Line box, type:
and click on OK to begin the installation.

- The Setup windows will briefly appear as the installation program begins. In the Quicken Financial Suite Setup window, click the Select All button on the upper right side of the Window to highlight all the Quicken selections for installation. Click on the Continue button at the bottom of the window to proceed.
- The Quicken Internet Access Package window appears on the screen next. Once you read through the information, click on the Yes button to continue. As the software installs to the hard drive, a percentage window appears at the bottom of the screen. The installation will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
- The Information window appears next. Once you read the information, click the OK button to continue. The Video for Windows 1.1 Runtime window appears next. After you read the Welcome screen, click the Continue button. A percentage bar appears in the center of the screen as the files copy to the hard drive.
- The Setup Successful window appears next. Click the Restart Now button to restart Windows and complete the software installation. Once Windows is restarted, a new Quicken group is present. To start any of the Quicken® applications, make sure that one of the Quicken® Financial Suite CD is in the CD-ROM drive. Double click on the icon of your choice. Consult the online help file for further assistance.
Note: If you receive an error about the CD-ROM drive, try inserting one of the other CD discs and click on the OK or Retry button.
Installation Instructions for Quicken® Parentsí Guide to Money
- Insert the Quicken® Parentsí Guide to Money CD in the CD-ROM drive. From the Program Manager in Windows, click the word File, then click on the word Run. In the Command Line box, type:
and click on OK to begin the installation.

- The ActiveBook Install window appears on the screen. The default installation directory of C:\ACTIVEBK\PARENTS appears at the bottom of the window. Click the Full Install button on the upper right side of the screen to accept the installation directory and continue. A percentage bar briefly flashes across the screen.
- The next window prompts you for the destination group of Quicken for the icons. Once you read through the information, click the Create button to add the icons. The next window informs you the installation is complete. Click the OK button to continue.
- The Video for Windows 1.1 Runtime window prompts you to install Video for Windows 1.1. Once you read the information on the screen, click the Continue button. As the software copies to the hard drive, a percentage bar appears in the center of the screen. The Setup Successful window appears next. Click on the Restart Now button to restart Windows and complete the installation.
- To start the application, make sure the CD is in the CD-ROM drive. From the Program Manager, double click the Quicken group to open it. Double click the Quicken Parentsí Guide to Money icon to start the application. Consult the online help file for further assistance.
