Gateway GoldTM Service and Support is standard on all GATEWAY 2000® computers. All customers who purchase a GATEWAYTM PC are entitled to this award winning service and support program at no additional charge.
Gateway Gold Service and Support includes 24-hour, seven days a week telephone technical support; one-year on-site service agreement, three-year limited warranty; and next-business-day parts and replacement service depending on parts availability.
- Telephone technical support on all hardware and productivity software purchased through Gateway 2000, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- On-site service is available to most locations in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Canada. On-site services are provided by PC Technology Services, Inc. PLEASE NOTE: On-site service is not available for any external peripheral, including any monitor, mouse, keyboard or speaker, or any portable computer system.
- On-site service will be dispatched when you and a Gateway 2000 technician determine it is necessary to install replacement parts and on-site is available in your area.
- A PC Technology Services authorized technician will contact you to schedule a two-hour appointment window using the estimated replacement part(s) delivery time.
- On-site service is available Monday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
- Requests for on-site service received on a Friday will be dispatched for the following Monday unless otherwise specified.
- Sunday and holiday dispatches for parts and service will be processed on the next-business-day for delivery on the second business day.
- Next-Business-Day Response: Calls received prior to 6:00 p.m. CST will be eligible for next-business-day on-site response, depending on parts availability.
- Parts Delivery: Any replacement parts will be shipped to a customer designated location via next-business-day delivery, pending parts availability and customer location, for orders received prior to 6 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday.
