Internet Application Engineer
Internet Department -- North Sioux City, SDHere, you could assume responsibility for researching, designing and implementing backend web server and office automation applications for the Gateway 2000 Internet site. You will ensure compliance with established security, branding and style specifications, as well as author HTML on both entertaining and technical subjects.
Specific qualifications include a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with one year experience, or an equivalent combination of both education and professional experience. Hands-on experience in developing applications using CGI, PERL, HTML, HTTP, and Sendmail/SMTP a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft ® Internet Information Server and Windows® NT Server, as well as HTTP and HTTPS protocols essential. Internet related programming languages such as Java, Perl, C++, Visual Basic are required.
