Robert Spears, Senior vice-president, Americas Group announced today Bart Brown has been named vice-president, Americas marketing and Eric Larsen has been named vice-president of Americas customer support. Brown will be responsible for all marketing activities in the Americas group, focusing on delivering a cohesive approach to marketing Gateway 2000 products to various customers. He attended the University of Iowa and in his eight years at Gateway has worked in a variety of areas including product development, product marketing, major account sales, general sales and manufacturing..
"Bart's wide breadth of Gateway experience has prepared him well for this new opportunity," said Spears.
Larsen will head the customer support activities in the Americas region. He joined Gateway 2000 in January as director, new business development for customer support. Larsen attended the University of Iowa. He has held several senior level customer support, marketing and consulting roles, most recently with M2 Communications and Apple Computer.
