Just a brief message of thanks for your tireless effort throughout the year.
You have certainly encouraged me to remain with the Amiga despite the
uncertainly within the community.
I would also like to commend you and your staff for the very high quality
of news that you have presented. It remains one of my most valuable sources
of information about what is happening in the U.S. and Europe, and living
in Australia, that is very needed.
That's about all, but please, keep AR going - it is fantastic...

Since most of us consider Amiga Report to be a reliable and quite
outstanding source of Amiga related information, I have a question for the
staff:
What has happend to Alex "Mr. CEI" Amor?
After the ESCOM purchase of CBM, rumors said CEI would develop Amiga
clones, CEI engineers would cooperate with AT developers and a zillion
other cool things that would take the Amiga into the next century. Right
now, the R & D boys at AT seem to do fine on their own (With eg. the
PowerAmiga in mind) but I'm just curious what Alex is up to now? What is
the current status of CEI?
Uhm, guess that's it for now. Oh yeah - I would like to take the
opportunity to wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new '96 -
especially Jason for doing an excellent job with Amiga Report, the Aminet
staff (which we all owe big time) and the AT executives for believing in
the Amiga. Thanks guys!
Take care kids -- Peter Eriksson, Sweden
-- Funny you should ask. When SMG was selected as North American
distributor, Alex specifically told me he wouldn't be buying any
machines from them. However, CEI recently surfaced on the SMG Dealer
List and Alex now tells me they will, indeed, buy Amiga product
through SMG and sell it both directly and through their dealer
network. --Jason
